The Sandbox has two 3D printers at Seneca@York, one at Newnham campus, and one at Markham campus available for booking. Users must complete training before booking time at our 3D printers.
To use a 3D printer students, staff, or faculty must follow these 3 steps:
- Complete our online training module (including a short quiz)
- Attend one of our workshops (sign up is available upon successful completion of the online module )
- Book the printer using our online form (please note: bookings will only be accepted if a person has completed steps 1 and 2)
- Complete the online agreement for the Sandbox 3D Printing Terms and Conditions.
Newnham: Wednesday May 24, 10:45 am to 12:00 pm, Newnham Medium Sandbox Studio (B2082)
Markham: Thursday May 25, 10:45 am to 12:00 pm, Markham Large Sandbox Studio (M650)
Seneca@York: Thursday May 25, 1:30 pm to 2:45 pm, Seneca@York Library ETC (S1112 in the Library)
